Absent Findings is easily the most underrated discovery of 2026
You cannot sleep on this brand. Absent Findings walked into their runway debut at Dubai Fashion Week with a collection that immediately felt self-assured. This was functional surrealism, grounded, where clothes felt wearable yet emotionally and culturally charged.
The collection builds around a sense of dream logic, pulling from Salvador Dalí and filmmaker David Lynch. You can see it in the way silhouettes move. Drapes fall softly but never too predictably. The tailoring is sharp but not rigid. There is a constant push and pull between control and fluidity.
What makes it feel more personal is the South Asian influence running through it. It shows up in the draping, the way fabric wraps around the body, and in the use of jewelry as part of the styling rather than an afterthought. It does not feel like a reference for the sake of it.
