Elle Singapore features Absent Findings

Founded in Dubai by creative director Shivin Singh, Absent Findings blends South Asian history with personal memory through handcrafted designs that preserve heirloom saris, deadstock textiles, and forgotten fabrics.

Florania, the Milan-based label founded by designer Flora Rabitti, transforms overlooked materials into new forms, with upcycling, textile recycling and circularity at the heart of its practice. Rabitti speaks of deconstructing, regenerating and reimagining what already exists, using recovered Italian stock, recycled fibres and circular-supply-chain leathers to give materials a renewed life. Her approach was spotlighted by ELLE Singapore, which also featured Absent Findings among the labels highlighted alongside Florania—recognising both brands for their thoughtful engagement with forgotten materials, heritage and craft.
