Fondazione Sozzani X AFA X Absent Findings

From December 18–21, Absent Findings was proud to be part of The Essence of Creation Special Sales at Fondazione Sozzani — a space that has long stood as a pillar for contemporary fashion, art, and cultural dialogue in Milan. A place where independent voices are not only showcased, but truly understood.

Curated and organized by Afro Fashion Association, the event created a thoughtful platform for designers and brands whose work extends beyond aesthetics, rooted instead in identity, craft, and cultural exchange. Being part of a collective that values depth, storytelling, and representation made this experience especially meaningful for us.

Sharing space with a diverse group of designers and engaging with an audience open to new narratives reinforced why community-driven platforms like this matter. Under the guidance of @michellengonmo, mentor of the house, and through the continuous advocacy of @saramaino_, the event stood as a reminder of the importance of support systems that genuinely invest in emerging talent.

Moments like these — conversations, connections, and shared energy — are what keep the process alive. Grateful to have contributed to this chapter and to have seen Absent Findings exist within a space that celebrates creation in its most honest form.
