Majd for Absent Findings

Set in a quiet, hidden corner of the UAE desert, Majd for Absent Findings is a visual performance piece that brings together contemporary dance, instinctive movement, and the expressive language of clothing. At its heart is dancer Majd Orij, whose improvised compositions weave between classical discipline and raw spontaneity — his body responding to silence, sand, and instinct.

Draped in garments by Absent Findings, Majd’s movements transform into a living narrative — clothing becomes both costume and conduit, memory and momentum. Each step, turn, and stillness is in dialogue with the pieces he wears, exploring how fabric can hold emotion, how motion can reveal story.

This project reflects the ongoing conversation between Absent Findings and the arts — a shared commitment to storytelling across form and medium. It is a portrait of tension and harmony: between structure and freedom, tradition and expression. Between the seen and the felt.
